Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for the most common issues.

CONNECTION PROBLEMS

Make sure your keypad model is listed as compatible

  • Check that the USB cable is properly connected
  • Make sure to use a USB-C to USB-A cable (preferably the original one included in the box). This keypad does not support direct USB-C to USB-C connections, even though it has a USB-C port.

In this case, the device is only detected when using a USB-C → USB-A adapter

PROFILE SWITCHING VIA MENU BAR

The menu bar profile switch is designed for keypads that do not support multiple hardware profiles.

In practice:

  • The menu bar reprograms the single available profile on the device with the selected configuration
  • If your device supports multiple profiles natively:
  • Configure them once via the software
  • Then use the physical switch on the keypad
  • Do not use the menu bar switch, as it will overwrite the active profile
