Update on the Development of Koby Ui.

We're excited to share that the development of the new graphical interface for the Trimui Smart Pro is almost complete! We've recently designed new icons, including those for PC-FX Doom and Dinothawr. The project is now at 95% completion, and we're entering the final stages of refinement. Stay tuned for the official release, and thank you for your continued support!

Over 90% Complete !

We're thrilled to announce that we've surpassed 90% completion of our redesign project! Recent additions include more consoles and emulators like Cavestory LowRes NX and Sharp X68000. We're getting closer to the finish line!

Almost There! 🚀

The redesign is moving along quickly! Only a few consoles and some graphic elements remain to be completed. Among the latest additions are UzeBox, Videoton TVC, and Videopac G7000. We’re excited to see the project coming together and appreciate your continued support!

Our redesign project is moving quickly! We’ve just completed icons for several new consoles, including the SNK Neo Geo CD, Sharp X1, and Commodore PET, along with many other icons. We’re now 80% of the way through the design process—stay tuned for more updates!

Six New Console Icons Designed for CrossMix OS

We’ve added six more console icons to the Trimui Smart Pro UI redesign project. This brings us closer to completing the comprehensive visual update.

Each icon has been carefully designed to reflect the essence of its respective console, ensuring both graphic aesthetics and functionality on CrossMix.

New Console Icons Designed

We are excited to announce the addition of three new console icons to our ongoing Trimui Smart Pro UI redesign project:

• Amiga 500
• Panasonic 3DO

Our goal is to create a consistent and visually appealing interface that enhances the overall user experience. We appreciate your patience and support as we work on designing the remaining console icons.

Switching Gears: From Figma to Illustrator.

After careful consideration, we have decided to switch from Figma to Illustrator for designing the new interface for Trimui SP with CrossMix OS. This decision is based on several reasons. The primary reason is that the redesign isn’t about creating all new interface elements, as it might be for other products, but rather about replacing images within the interface that already have set dimensions. Therefore, there is limited flexibility, and the task mainly involves redesigning existing elements while maintaining their original sizes. In this context, Figma might not be the most suitable software. It doesn’t allow me to work with icons and vector shapes as fluidly as Illustrator does. By using Figma, we would miss out on its best features tailored for interface design and instead deal with its limitations in illustration. That’s why Illustrator seems like the more appropriate tool for the job. Rest assured, the work done so far has not been wasted. We have transferred the components designed in Figma to Illustrator, where we have also made improvements. So, the development of the new interface is progressing better than before. Stay tuned!

New Background Designed

We have designed a new background for the Trimui Smart Pro screens. Unlike the default background, this will be a single, consistent background across all screens. This change makes the design more homogeneous and the interface more readable, as it keeps the focus on the changing elements on the screen, without the distraction of a varying background.

Update

We have started redesigning some interface icons such as Wi-Fi, volume, L and R buttons, select, start… All icons are vector-based and created in Figma. We are developing symbols with multiple variants for icons like Wi-Fi, volume, and battery, which include different states.
